Installation Instructions

1. Take out the (A)Activated carbon block filter and remove the package.

2. Take out the system and adapters (A3/A5) and twist off the filter base (D) anticlockwise. Keep the water outlet hole of the filter downward and put the filter on the filter base (D). Twist on the filter base (D) clockwise.

3. Remove the aerator of the faucet and choose the right adapter to match your faucet threading. Make sure the washer between the faucet and the system is installed firmly.

How to Choose the Right Adapter

For external threaded faucets, please connect the adapter directly to the mounting base (C).

For internal threaded faucets, select the appropriate adapter (A3/A5) according to the thread size. Use a coin to connect it to the mounting base (C). Then connect the adapter to the faucet.

If you still cannot connect it properly, please contact customer service to get another adapter.

4. Switch the lever to the level position, inject water into the system, then flush it for 3 minutes during the first use.

Tips: If there is water leakage at the connecting position, we suggest to use the Teflon tap to avoid leakage.

NOTE: There may outflow a small amount of black water for the first use. This is a normal phenomenon because of the activated carbon.

Use Method

Note:

1. Before the first use, run cold water for 3 minutes in the level direction. Remember do not use water at a temperature higher than 1009F/38°C. There may be a small amount of black water and some noise of water pushing air out of the filter during the first use. This is a normal phenomenon because of the active carbon. Please feel free to use the water after it becomes clear.

2. If there is water leakage at the connecting position, please refer to the FAQ, use the Teflon tap or contact our customer service.

Filter Replacement

If you need to replace your filter, for optimum performance, it is highly recommended to choose AFaucet 1 faucet replacement water filter. In order to keep effective filtration, we advise to change your filter every 3 months or 320 gallons. This will vary based on the water quantity and quality.

1. Twist off the filter base (D) and remove the expired filter.

2. Take out a new filter and press the new filter into the filter base (D). Ensure that the sealing ring under the filter is in place.

3. Twist the filter base (D) with the filter top cover (B).

4. Switch the lever to the level position and flush for more than 3 minutes.

Warnings

1. Flush the system for 3 minutes before first use, 5-10s before every use. If the standby time of this system has been over 24 hours, run water for 30s before use.
2. Do not inject water into the filtration system through the outlet.
3. Do not touch the outlet of the system.
4. Do not use the filter system under freezing temperature.
5. Do not use water above 100°F/38°C.
6. The exterior of the system can be cleaned with soft cloth.
7. The filter should be replaced every 3 months or 320 gallons for best filtration performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does the filtered water run slowly and how to solve this question?
A: There are 2 reasons may caused filtered water run slowly, water pressureis too low or the filter is blocked. Please check whether the water pressure ofthe pipeline is normal, or replace the filter regularly.

Q: Why does the TDS value not lower even increase after filtration?
A: TDS stands for total dissolved solids. lt is composed of inorganic salts anda small amount of organic matter. This filter system can not lower the TDSvalue because it only removes harmful substances and keeping organicelements, which may increase the TDS value.

Q: How to solve the problem of water leakage?
A: Twist off the filtration system from the faucet to check if the O-ring is placedcorrectly, at the same time, make sure that the thread between the faucet andthe filtration system is screwed firmly.

Q: Why can't the filtration system connect to the kitchen faucet?
A: There are three connection methods (including two additional adapters). lfthe system still cannot be connected properly, please contact our customerservice to get another adapter.

Limited Warranty

The AFaucet 1 Water Filter Faucet filtration system provides a 1-year warranty from the original date of purchase. If something goes wrong within 1 year from the date of purchase, please contact support@besdor.com, we’ll try our best to help you. During the warranty period, we will replace or repair any part that is deemed to be defective if the product has not been altered, repaired and used improperly. The product is not warranted against misuse, including use under abnormal operating temperature, conditions listed outside the operating parameters. It also cannot be used for commercial operations or in any other manner outside the "system specifications" set forth in the owner's manual. We are not responsible for the cost of transportation and the damage in transit; claims for such damage should be presented to the carrier by the customer.
