The filter is well built and heavy, should last for many years. It came with all the needed parts. Installation went pretty well. If you DIY, make sure that you properly plan the installation since you do have to shut off your main water supply during installation. We've been using it for a few months now and it is perfect. There was no noticable change in water pressure and the water in the shower feels softer. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Works great, flushes the filter automatically. I'm using these to remove sand from my well water feeding automatic sprinkler system.

So far it works great on my water well. I have fine sand that gets stirred up every now and then and it would mess up shower heads and stuff but it filters all that out, so it ls definitely a good choice. Easy to clean and maintain.
